Our History

The BOLD Effect Consulting was founded with one clear goal in mind: to help women, especially moms, reclaim their time, build sustainable systems, and confidently lead in business and life.

What began as a solo virtual assistant service quickly expanded into a full-scale consulting agency, offering bold solutions in operations management, systems setup, and strategic support for women-led brands.

Our founder, Imani Peterkin, built The BOLD Effect from her own lived experience of juggling motherhood, entrepreneurship, and a desire for freedom.
She knew there had to be a better way and now she’s helping other women find theirs. We’ve proudly served purpose-driven coaches, creatives, and small business owners from all over, always with a bold, personal, and strategic touch.

Imani Peterkin is the powerhouse behind The BOLD Effect Consulting, a wife, mom of three, business strategist, systems queen, and unapologetic advocate for moms in business. With years of experience in operations, program management, and entrepreneurship, she brings the perfect mix of real-world know-how, professional excellence, and a genuine passion for helping women build businesses that actually work without losing their minds or neglecting their families.

The BOLD Effect was born from her mission to close the gap between big ideas and sustainable execution. After living the highs and lows of motherhood and entrepreneurship herself, Imani knew moms didn’t need more one-size-fits-all advice. They needed a structure that makes sense, support they can lean on, and a strategy that works for their real life.

With a background in public administration, government operations, and leadership development, Imani combines big-picture strategy with the lived experience that mom CEOs truly value.

Through her signature BOLD Method, she helps women lead with confidence, build businesses with backbone, and reclaim their time through systems that actually work.
